Sketch in 2002 SA vs England programme

Neil Alan de Kock is on his first senior Springbok tour of Europe - a prize for classy performances both for Western Province and South Africa in the past few months. Educated at the University of Stellenbosch, he has appeared in five of the ten tests this year, having originally made his name with the Griffons, of Northern Free State. Helped South Africa Under 23s to win the African Championships and last year came to Europe with the South Africa A squad. Has an aptitude, indeed relish, for tackling opposing forwards.
